Hyundai’s conglomerate has expanded and diversified, to accommodate many other models. The K900 is one such instance, which is based on a chassis that is derived from the lofty, Genesis G90. The wheelbase has increased by 2.3 inches, the ride quality has become much more subtle and isolated.
The newly redesigned K900 is an improvement over its previous iterations. Besides an upscale interior, this year the K900 shares the same mechanicals with its cousin the Stinger GT, and the Genesis G90. This large luxury sedan serves as Kia’s entry into the world of luxury and with an average price tag, the K900 might pose as a serious contender in the affordable luxury vehicles market.
Priced at $52,026, the Kia K900 comes in one trim only. It gets a turbocharged V6 and standard all-wheel drive, alongside a plethora of features. How does the 2019 K900 fair? Let’s find that out.
The K900 comes in one trim only, i.e, the V6 Luxury trim. It gets a standard 3.3-liter V6 with a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The standard 19-inch wheels manage to soak up most of the undulations without breaking much sweat. The level of customization on offer is what makes it more engaging. The Haptic Steering feedback, which works in conjuncture with Lane-Keep assist, is a nice trick to keep you alert on long boring highway journeys.
As engaging and luxurious as the front row gets, the K900’s second row is equally accomodating with a boatload of amenities. The VIP Luxury package gets you power-adjustable rear seats and ventilated outboard rear seats and a three-way automatic climate control, instead of the dual-zone climate control. All in all, the 2019 Kia K900 is loaded and if ticked the right boxes, then can be a pretty serious luxury vehicle. But quality issues sometimes come in between and that makes it a hard choice, especially when its competitors are concerned.

Go for the V6 Premium variant of the K900. It actually makes more sense. It strikes the perfect balance between power and fuel economy and has a good amount of equipment on board. At $49,900, this variant of the K900 will give you a luxurious experience and at the same time will not come hard on your pocket
The 3.3-liter V6 is mechanically the same unit, found in the Genesis G90 and the Stinger GT. The new V6 produces 376 lb-ft of torque as early as 1300 rpm and revs all the way up to 6000 rpm, with a peak power of 365 horsepower.
The eight-speed automatic transmission from Hyundai works smoothly distributing power to all four wheels at all times. The standard AWD on the K900 can vary the torque distribution from front to rear, and Kia claims that it is a bit rear-biased.

Kia K900 is built to carry the rich and important people. Now Kia knows that most people buying a car in this segment would give safety great importance and so meet their expectations Kia has stuffed this car with lots of safety features. Some of them are listed below.
The Cadillac CT 6 Standard is almost five grand costlier than the Kia K900 and also has an underpowered engine under its hood. The Cadillac loses on the equipment front to making the Kia K900 the clear winner of the comparison. The Cadillac only scores on the Kia in terms of fuel economy.
This is where the competition gets tough. The Lincoln only 6 horses deficient to the Kia and almost has the fuel efficiency ratings. Moreover, the Lincoln is 4 grand cheaper than the Kia and also offers better boot space.
Also, there are only slight differences in the equipment that is on offer. If you can compromise a little bit on the interior space, then go for the Lincoln and you get that Lincoln badge on your car just to add up to your snob.

It looks and feels upmarket inside and out. All in all a brilliant product from Kia and a great value for your money. The only thing that might disappoint some people is the Kia badging but hey, people are to turn their heads around when they see an unusually large and plush car with a Kia logo on it!
