The 2019 Nissan Murano is equipped with a massive 3.5-liter engine that provides a maximum power output of 260 hp along with 240 lb.ft. of torque. The engine is mated with continuously variable transmission and delivers the power to the front wheels as standard. There is an option to opt for the AWD variant as well.
The CVT takes time to transfer power from standstill courtesy of the rubber band effect but gets the engine past its mid-range and that is when the Murano truly shines. The brake pedals aren't soft and offer a decent bite, but we would have appreciated a little more from those units.
