Inheriting values and customs from the elder member in the family, the 2020 Audi S6 sedan shares its DNA with the Audi A6 sedan. Developed with a new engine although the S6 is a new machine when on the road. A specially designed differential for best torque delivery when needed and its sporty dynamics make the S6 a promising sedan in 2020.
It's hard to tell why Audi has a romantic relationship with dark interiors for all S badged wheels.
Born and brought up with Audi’s blood and sweat, the S6 is the makeover, all grownup version of the Audi A6 sedan. Planted with an all-new engine under the hood, the 2020 Audi S6 is derived from the C8 generation Audi A6. Sports sedan with brains of an elephant and heart of a greyhound, the S6 is a performer in true sense. Available in two trim levels, the 2020 S6 faces competition with the likes of the BMW M550i and Lexus LS500.

A recommendation is easy, what’s difficult is to come in verse with the fact that Audi has decided to downgrade the power of the S6 by a few degrees. But what's alluring is that you get more torque now out of the new engine. To spice up the recipe, Audi is also providing 7 different packages. Out of the two trims available for the 2020 Audi S6 sports sedan, we recommend the 2.9T Premium Plus variant. Couple the trim with driver assistance package and S Sports package for advanced driving dynamics.
Not to brag about german automobiles, Audi has marked its name in the market for performance and brilliance in manufacturing quality. If asked to run, the 2020 S6 literally glides off the tarmac with its uber-powerful V6 heart pumping enough energy to play a hysterical satire on gods of speed. To put power into perspective, the total horsepower produced by the 2020 Audi S6 sports sedan is about 444 hp.
The total torque produced by this engine is 443 lbs./ft. The mere difference in the horsepower produced and the torque of the engine resulting in brilliant cruising dynamics for the sedan which is further intensified with adaptive suspensions and with a well-distributed weight ratio.

Experiencing a new V6 engine behind the chrome grille in the front, the Quattro all-wheel drive train of the S6 comes with an S sports package that adds sports differential and a dynamic steering system to the folio enhancing the performance to newer grounds. This specially-engineered differential shares the power to the wheel with least traction while taking a turn keeping the performance top-notch. This engine creates a shorter path for the exhaust gases to move out of the system with minimal lag. An electronic compressor powered by a 48 V MHEV system further helps the exhaust gases to move faster and help avoid turbo lag. To sweeten the deal up a ladder, the sports package also adds a symphonic exhaust track to the system which proves to be a drug among motorheads.
4.4 seconds to 60 is not a bad number we presume. Enough to scratch gravel off the surface, the tremendous torque producing sedan S6 gives the much required initial push to the wheels.
Cruising high or low, the pedal will always respond with monstrous extrovertism while keeping the sanity alive within the cabin.

It's not just the speed that admires the adrenaline in you, the engine speaks its volume with guts and glory keeping the enthusiasm settle with grace. Brilliant exhaust track through the chrome tip keeps the codrivers looking at the machine while it waves goodbye with grace and gut all at once.
Differential like no other, power to weight ratio of a typical sports car, the 2020 Audi S6 is no aluminum box on four wheels. It rides like a gem, drives like a dove and revs like a lion. Not referencing to its rival in the segment, the ‘cheetah’ of the race, BMW M550i, the Audi S6 is value for money in true sense. The 2.9 liter Biturbo V6 creates a shorter path for the exhaust gases to move out of the system giving an upper edge to the performance of the turbochargers.
Better mechanics lead to better handling and a perfect ride comes as a compliment.
At any given point of time during a drive, it's almost a cakewalk to maneuver the sedan through curves and corners. Enough power through the engine makes sure to never keep you waiting while overtaking a fellow car guy on the motorway.
“Hold on to me as we go” are pleasing lyrics from a song that speaks about freedom and joy. Trust us as we say this, the brake pedals actually turned into a Pixar character and said this to us. With a stopping distance of 107 ft., the 2020 Audi S6 sports sedan stops like a pro even in the worst of driving conditions
An additional ‘black optics package’ adds wider summer tires under the body enhancing the joy up to many folds.

Although Audi has not yet disclosed the economy for the 2020 S6 sedan but we can expect it to be between 15-18 miles per gallon in the city traffic. A powerful engine drives the sedan with precision but consumes fuel at a faster rate.

Audis are in love with the all-black interiors for its S badged cars. For the 2020 S6, Audi has followed the tradition religiously. Chrome touches all along the cabin add to the premium appeal of the sedan. Sporty steering with the touch panel at the center is a welcoming environment with features such as infotainment controls on the steering and heads up display. Contrasting stitches add a flair of sportiness to the cabin making it a religious consciousness of the S tribe. Two upholstery options give you an option in how you want your S6 to look like. The standard package comes with a combination of leather and Alcantara. You can also get the Valcona leather for the upholstery for a few extra bucks. This package lets you get rid of the usual black surrounding and keeps the quirk alive.Â
Standard brushed aluminum trim on the dash, center console, and door panels complete the overall look and feel of the interiors in the S6 sedan. You can customize it too and get the console in fine grain ash wood. Look down and you will notice pedals made out of stainless steel. You can get a flat-bottom steering wheel too if you wish to pay a little extra.
5 people fit like a charm in the 2020 Audi S6 sport sedan. Enough headroom to squeeze the tallest of the commuter, the sedan is a comfort machine for both city commute and long cruising. Most of its dimension specs are inherited from the A6 sedan. Although, a few tweaks to the design has added a few inches to both headroom and legroom.
14-way adjustable sporty seats for both the front row passengers with memory function adds to the comfort. Lumbar support and an armrest for both front and back rows are welcoming features as well.Â

Audi has always been ahead of the game when it comes to infotainment setup of their cars. The 2020 S6 sedan, is no different either. The MMI interface found in the S6 ranks as one of the slickest in the industry. It easily readable in all lighting conditions and all the functions can be easily accessed.
The most notable highlights of the infotainment system includes the following features
Most of us will agree, the A6 never had the plushest of the cargo space. The same cargo has been inherited for the S6. Giving the least cargo space among most of its competitors, space is enough for running errands from a flea market but could be a pain on longer drives. With a capacity to fix up to 5 standard size bags in the trunk, the 2020 Audi S6 is good enough for your needs but not for your desires.Â

Magically fixed out of the A6 sedan, the 2020 Audi S6 Sedan brings a few new tweaks to the exteriors. The most prominent of which is the new grille in the front. The new grille features wider elements with sharper edges. The grille features a Honeycomb maze attire which was not present even in the RS variants. More angular and slimmer headlamps look straight in the eye with its bold and aggressive styling. Adhering true to its philosophies, Audi has kept the S6 sedan pretty featureless on the sides.
A character line flows through the B-pillar and touches the rear lamps giving it a bit angular fascia. Move towards the hump and you will notice styling similar to that of the A6. A chrome strip defines the character of the sedan and holds the center point in its rear profile. Hugging them are the two slim LED tail lamps with indicators. Twin chrome double exhaust completes the folio with much precision and simplicity making the sedan look sporty and aggressive while keeping the Audi design language true to its name.
Definitely not the heaviest of them all among competitors, the S6 sedan weighs enough to feel planted and peppy on the road. Standing a few inches lower than its competitors, the S6 looks plush and also presents more than enough room in the cabin.

The exterior features of the 2020 Audi S6 sedan include:
With carmakers around the world, focusing on offering the best in terms of safety to people, Audi has joined the same trend with the S6. While IIHS and NHTSA are yet to rate the S6, Audi has added a ton load of features on the same, to ensure the peace of mind of the occupants of the S6.
Safety features of the 2020 Audi S6 sedan include:
Standing tall on its brand language, Audi has turned the S6 into a well-stocked super machine of utmost capability. With the new engine in place, the sedan has adhered to being both sporty and plush in the same body. Grabbing each and every power mark on the way, the 2020 Audi S6 has eradicated the line between its competitor, the BMW M550i. Parked head to head, the two sedans are yet equal rivals to each other. With over $6000 difference is pricing, the M550i is costlier and hosts a powerful V8 engine. The difference of almost 100 hp and 100 lbs.-ft. torque gives the M550i an upper edge in terms of power delivery. If you are looking for enough power to keep your heart pumping with pleasure and that too in a budget, the S6 proves to be a great option. M550i comes with its own capabilities but also has costlier pricing.
When edges and lines meet, the aesthetics are somewhat unnatural. Park the Lexus sideways and you will notice stark design elements differentiating it with the 2020 Audi S6. Costliest of the lot, the Lexus LS500 also has the least power delivery of them all. Hosting a V6 engine just like the S6, the LS500 has similar features too but demands strong brand loyalty to be the sedan of choice here. The LS500 is also not the most fuel-conscious sedan here and loses a lot of numbers due to its lacking engineering. The 2020 Audi S6 sedan is a clear winner here and holds the mark to be well priced and generously engineered for power and comfort.
With more than enough options available in terms of external packages, generous power outputs, and an interior to comfort you in the worst of days, the S6 is an all-rounder in the field. It doesn't shy away on corners, zoom past the traffic with confidence and ease and holds the 4 ring badge on its nose. Best pricing and the trust of the A6 makes the S6 a strong player in the sports sedan market.
