"Sporty" is one term that defines the 2020 BMW M4 with all its capabilities. A nimble 2 door sedan with performance of a track car, the M4 brings excitement and thrill in the picture. Brilliant fuel economy also makes it valuable for the commuter in you while you rev the big mill under the hood on the red light to feel the punch.
Priced $69,150 for the coupe version while convertible costs about $77,650, the 2020 M4 is definitely costlier than many capable cars such as the 2020 Corvette Stingray but comes with its own personality and styling.
Tires screeching on the tarmac, tail bulging out on every sharp bend and a mean-looking machine wrapped in a special coated paint of unique color diaspora, these are the scenarios of the M4. Built like Sirius black’s invisibility cloak, the 2020 BMW M4 coupe is a magician wrapped under a sophisticated stance while hosting a powerhouse under its hood.
The Bavarian Motor Works is going to host three trims for the 2020 BMW M4 which include two coupe trims and one convertible.

Which trim to go for?
There is not much room in terms of trim choices for the 2020 M4. You can choose any out of two models if you are in the market for a coupe. Although, we recommend to get the base 2dr RWD M4 and get the M driver’s package installed which further improves the power output and adds about 19 horsepower under the hood.
One thing BMW’s have mastered is the art of making their engines work wonders for their cars. Powered by a 3-liter I-6 engine, the 2020 M4 produces a total of about 425 horsepower at 5500rpm. For better power delivery, you can get the M driver’s package installed which adds another 19 horsepower and make the I-6 engine produce 444 horsepower at 5500 rpm. Torque produced in both the conditions is 406 lbs./ft at 1850 rpm.
On the contrary, competitors of the M4 in the market are better if you talk about numbers. The 2020 Lexus and 2020 Benz C63, both come installed with a mighty V8 and produce 472 hp at 7100 rpm and 469 hp at 5500 rpm respectively. Torque produced by the 2020 Lexus RC F stands at 395 lbs./ft. While the 2020 C63 produces a mighty 479 lbs./ft. of torque at 1750 rpm.

The M4 is an iconic member of BMW’s M family. Born with a heart tuned to pump pure adrenaline out of its chrome exhausts, the M4 accelerates pretty quick. In under 4 seconds, the 2020 BMW M4 can clock 60 miles from a standstill. Not so heavy body, use of carbon fiber and chassis sitting low to the road adds to the acceleration punch you feel, the moment you hit the gas.
The 2020 BMW M4 coupe has a quarter-mile time of about 12 seconds. No competition in the segment beats the 3.8 seconds mark here. Slowest of these all is the 2020 Lexus RC F because of its heavier weight than other sports sedans in the segment.

It's not hard to guess it’s an M4 if it performs top-notch and yet give amazing value of money in terms of fuel economy. Running 18 miles in a gallon in the city and 25miles on the freeway, the 2020 BMW M4 is better performing in terms of fuel economy than the Lexus RC f but falls short of few miles when driven against the Benz C 63.

Inheriting most of its interior architecture from the significantly non-racy two-door BMW 4 series and four-door 3 series, the 2020 BMW M4 feels plush and supreme. Premium build quality coupled with roomy enough interior makes it a good choice among competitors. Although, due to not much overhaul during the years, the M4’s all-black interiors may feel a bit outdated in the present day and age. To supplement this, BMW provides three dual-tone color options for the interiors. These colors include Sonoma Beige, Silverstone, and Sakhir Orange.
Being a two-door sports sedan with a rear seat, it gets a bit cluttered for the passengers but surprisingly enough, the rear seat is precise to seat 2 adult passengers. Comfortable enough for road commutes, the seats are well sized and are good for spirited driving as well.
