That is made sure by a 4.4L turbocharged V8 which comes married to an 8-speed automatic transmission with AWD as standard. This duo can produce a mind-blowing 600 hp with 590 lb-ft of torque. 

The 2021 BMW Alpina B7 is available in single well-equipped trim, priced at an MSRP of $143,200. The 2021 Alpina is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 making 600 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, which is 37 lb-ft of torque more than the 2020 model year. It does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and will achieve a electronically limited top speed of 193 mph.

The 2021 BMW Alpina B7 is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 making 600 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, an increase in torque by 37 lb-ft more than the 2020 model. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic which directs all the power to the xDrive (AWD) system. 

In terms of performance, 600 hp translates into the 2021 Alpina B7 does the 0-60 sprint in 3.5 seconds, faster than the Audi S8 and Mercedes-Maybach S560, but slower than the Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive. The 2021 B7 sets a quarter-mile time of 11.4 seconds and comes with an electronically limited top speed of 193 mph (205 mph for other Alpine B7 markets).

The 2021 BMW Alpina B7's interior comes with a seating capacity of 5 occupants and can be reduced to 4 with the rear executive lounge seating package ($5,750) which adds a rear center console. The front row seats are heated, ventilated, and massage 14-way power multi-contour seats with memory positions. Four-zone climate control is standard.

The interior upholstery is perforated Nappa leather available with color options and quilting ($500) and optional Merino leather ($4,000). Options include - heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the rear seats are part of luxury rear seat package, Alcantara headliner, LED lights in the panoramic roof, Alcantara color headliner. The 2021 Alpina B7 has a cargo capacity of 18.2 cu.ft. which is more than the competition.

The 2021 BMW Alpina B7 is based on the BMW 7-series so it has the same look and structure but comes with many Alpina-specific design features. The car still features a large kidney grille with slim LED lights with DRLs and large air intakes with an Alpina branded front splitter to complete the front fascia. 

The rear fascia comes with an Alpina-designed rear diffuser and a lip spoiler with quad exhaust tips and Alpina and model badging. The 2021 Alpina B7 comes with 20-inch multi-spoke wheels with performance tires can opt for all-season tires or 21-inch with performance tires. Other exterior options include paint choices and optional Shadowline trim.

The 2021 BMW Alpina B7 has not yet been crash-tested by the NHTSA. Like the NHTSA, the IIHS has also not yet crash-tested the 2021 Alpina B7 as well. Both the NHTSA and IIHS have not crash-tested the 2020 Alpina B7 as well.

Being an Alpina model, the B7 comes with many safety and driver-assist features including BMW's active protection system, pre & post-collision safety system, ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution, Blind spot monitoring, lane departure warnings, extended traffic jam assist, and many more.
