2021 Ferrari F8 Tributo Review

Pros

  • Brilliant ride quality off the track
  • Instantaneous power delivery
  • Excellent traction control system
  • Packs an award-winning engine underneath its hood

Cons

  • Brake pedal feedback is not as great as other rivals
  • Slightly less communicative steering wheel

The F8 Tributo came in hot as the more serious and powerful sibling of the Portofino which debuted just a year back. Some would say the Tributo is the better Ferrari of the two because of its jaw-dropping looks and outrageous performance, and we can’t deny that at all! The F8 comes with chiseled panels and creases along with the silhouette of the coupe that lifts the persona of this coupe along with the heart of the 710 bhp engine that was in the 488 Pista.

Still, an attractive mix of scallops, creases, and curves gives the entire car a flowing, modern look, set off by gloss-black details. - CarGurus

The F8 Tributo showcases Ferrari’s new design language characterized by an S-Duct in front that has been redesigned to increase downforce by 15% more than the already aerodynamic 488. Under the new set of LED headlights, the F8 gets large openings on its bumper. Coming to the rear the V8 engine is covered by a Lexan screen that louvered to act as a heat extractor.

The quad taillights sit over the dual tailpipes which are integrated into the rear diffuser. 20-inch wheels are standard the design can be changed as can the material to feature carbon fiber wheels. Ferrari's Standard range of colors is available. Like the interior, the exterior can be customized to your liking thanks to the Ferrari's Tailor Made Division.

Safety
8.0/10

The 2021 Ferrari F8 Tributo has not yet been crash-tested by the NHTSA. Like the NHTSA, the IIHS has also not crash-tested the 2021 F8 Tributo. Both organizations have not crash-tested the 2020 model as well. Considering the fact that it is a low-sale high priced car, there is a good chance it will not be crash-tested.

Ferrari has fitted the F8 with a new dynamic enhancer plus (FDE+) that allows you to drive safely within the limits of the car even on the track. Along with this there are other safety features include F1 Trac ABS, traction control, side-impact beams, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring sensors, back up camera, and electronic stability control.

Final Verdict
8.6/10

The 2021 Ferrari F8 Tributo has the performance, power, and style that you expect from a Ferrari. Even the interior is crafted to look more like a race car than a luxury tourer by offering infotainment features part of the instrument cluster and optional carbon fiber seats. However, if you are looking for more power and better performance the McLaren 720S is the one to look at.
