There is an old-world vibe to the 5-seater interior with all the materials used. In order to remain competitively priced, a lot of hard plastic is used across all surfaces of the 2021 Compass but in no way does it ever feel tacky. Thankfully, most of the surfaces on the door are covered in cloth or soft-touch materials which give a slightly premium feel.
The front seats offer ample space for adjustment for even the tall guys and the roof is placed at an adequate position that it does not bite into the eye-line and makes way for a great view of the road. The steering wheel is multifunction capable with auxiliary controls for the infotainment and cruise control settings on it as standard. Thanks to the tilt and telescopic adjustment capability, you'll be able to find that sweet spot between practicality and comfort very easily.
While the front seats get most of the controls, the rear seats get the majority of the comfort. Even at full capacity, you will not be pushed for space. The tall guys might find it a little tight, but that is about it, little. Overall, the 2021 Compass comes with feature-rich interiors that have a little something for everyone and anyone and can keep everyone immersed in its magnanimous build.

The Forester offers the biggest cabin among the lot, which is followed by the RAV4 marginally. You might think that the compact-sized Jeep Compass might be short on space, but it is actually quite spacious for the passengers overall, the boxy design language actually makes way for a lot of room in the cabin which is the biggest advantage for the Jeep. The notable features of the cabin are:
- 7-inch Digital Driver Display
- Climate Control with Interior Air Filtration
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Multifunction Steering Wheel with Tilt And Telescopic adjustment
- Leather-wrapped and Heated Steering Wheel
- Bucket Front Seats with heating
- Premium Cloth or Leather upholstery
- 8 -Way Power Adjustable Driver Seat with Height Adjustment and Power Lumbar adjustment
- 6 -Way Manual Passenger Seat Adjustment with Height Adjustment
- Split-Folding Rear Seatback with Fold Flat capability
As you move up the trim levels, the features start to get more advanced. Thankfully, the majority of the features are available even in the base Sport trim which makes it a total value for money investment. Standard on all the trims up to the Altitude is a Uconnect 4 7-inch touchscreen that is borrowed from the Renegade.
