The 2022 Palisade is Hyundai’s high-end luxury SUV. It is powered by 3.8 L V6 that is capable of producing 291 hp. Starting at around $34,000, it promises excellent value for money as well. It is well built and immensely capable. It comes with front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option.
The 2022 Hyundai Palisade returns for another stint with little changes to design and mechanicals. Available in a total of 4 trims, the 2022 Palisade starts from $33,150 for the base SE trim with FWD and goes up to $48,390 for the feature-loaded Calligraphy trim with AWD. Speaking of the Calligraphy trim itself, it now gets FWD as standard as one of the changes for this year for a price of $46,690. The other major changes can be seen on the safety front with Hyundai making Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert standard on all the trims as well as integrated ORVM turn signals.
Apart from these few changes, the Palisade continues to be the flag-bearer of the South-Korean giant's lineup. It comes with premium interiors that feature quilted Nappa leather, a massive 10.3" infotainment system, and a 12-Speaker Harman/Kardon audio system. Powering the 2022 Hyundai Palisade is a 3.8-l Naturally-aspirated V6 motor good for 291 horses and 261 ft-lbs of torque. The Palisade rivals the likes of the Dodge Durango, Honda Pilot, and the Kia Telluride.
The SEL hits the right spot in the Palisade’s lineup due to the impressive amenities it adds to the list, without adding much to the premium over the SE trim. The available optional packages also help the trim gain some of the features from the Limited trim as well.
