The linear continuation of the 2021 model could well be seen on the interior of the 2022 Kia Telluride as well. There are no changes made to the design or material and build quality this year. In terms of design, Telluride’s interior boasts a sharp but straightforward dash that boasts a clean and clutter-free setup. This means that buyers would still be able to pick from either a 7 or 8 seat configuration, thanks to the available second-row captain chairs on the top three trims. Three-zone climate control and leatherette upholstery is offered as standard. Along with the captain chairs, the S trim also gets a powered driver and heated front seats, a wireless charging pad, and a leather steering wheel.
The EX trim adds ventilation function to the power front seats and leather upholstery to the interior, while the top-end Telluride SX trim gets memory function for the driver seat and outside mirrors along with a 64-color ambient interior lighting. Optionally, a $1,500 rear-seat entertainment package can be had across the trim. Also, the mood lighting can be added for just $450 while an electro-chromatic inside mirror with Homelink will set you back by another $350.
What aids practicality more than the spacious cabin is its trunk capacity. The 2022 Telluride offers a luggage capacity of 21 cu-ft when all the seats are in an upright position. Fold down the rear tow seats and that opens a maximum cargo capacity of 87 cu-ft. For a family of five, the cargo space is more than enough for a long getaway with the third row folded.

For infotainment needs, the outgoing Telluride's 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment in the "LX" AND "S" trims will be replaced with a 10.25-inch unit as standard for 2022. The system also comes standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 6-speaker audio system. Only the top-of-the-line SX trim features a premium 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. There's a navigation system, Driver Talk in-car PA system, and multi-Bluetooth hands-free functionality with voice recognition also available as standard across the board.
