Used 2011 Land Rover Range Rover HSE for sale 

The 2011 Land Rover Range Rover SUV is available in two trims: HSE and supercharged. Powering both the trims is a 5 liter V8, the Supercharged trim gets a supercharged version of the same engine. Both trims come with a four-wheel-drive as a standard drivetrain.

We recommend buying the HSE trim which comes with all the required comforts and technology along with this it has plenty of power for off-road Ing and also comes with features like adaptive air suspension to enhance comfort. Additionally, we recommend getting the HSE luxury package. 

The Land Rover Range Rover is powered by a 5 liter V8 which makes 375 hp and 375 foot-pounds of torque. The supercharged trim gets a supercharged version of the same engine which makes 510 hp and 461 foot-pounds of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission which directs all the power to the four-wheel-drive system. 

Being a Land Rover it also comes with off-road abilities and the Range Rover has the latest rain response to which allows you to set up the mechanical parts (engine, suspension, etc) according to the terrain you are traveling on. When properly equipped the Range Rover can tow up to 7,700 pounds.

In performance testing, the Land Rover Range Rover HSC does the 0 to 60 sprint in 6.4 seconds and the standing quarter-mile in 14.9 seconds. The supercharged variant does the 0 to 60 sprint of 5 seconds and the standing quarter-mile time of 13.5 seconds. Both come with a top speed of 150 mph.

The most powerful of the above cars are the BMW X5 and a Porsche Cayenne boat making 400 hp. Following this is the Mercedes-Benz GL 550 making 382 hp and then comes to the Land Rover Range Rover making 375 hp. The Range Rover is the slowest in the 0 to 60 sprint and the standing quarter-mile.

The 2011 Land Rover Range Rover gives 12 mpg in the city, 18 mpg on the highway, and a combined mpg of 14. The Range Rover comes with a fuel capacity of 27.6 gallons which allows it a range of 331 miles in the city, 497 miles on the highway in a combined range of 386 miles. The good part about the Range Rover is that it gives the same EPA-rated fuel economy numbers on both the HSE and Supercharged.

The most combined range is offered by the Porsche Cayenne of 403 miles. Following this is the Range Rover with the range of 386 miles, then comes the Mercedes-Benz GL 550 with a range of 369 miles followed closely by the BMWX5 with a combined range of 360 miles.

The Range Rover can accommodate five people comfortably. The front row seats are power-adjustable and have the feature of heating. The leather and wood steering wheel also has a similar feature. The interior upholstery is leather and tri-zone automatic climate control keeps everyone comfortable. 

The optional HSE luxury pack adds heated and ventilated front seats, upgraded leather, and heating features to the rear seats. This pack is included in the Supercharged variant. The supercharged variant comes with an option of a full leather interior, quad-zone automatic climate control, and the upgraded heated and ventilated reclining rear seats which are included in the Autobiography pack. The Range Rover comes with a cargo capacity of 35.2 cu-ft.

The Land Rover Range Rover offers the least amount of legroom in the front row and in the back row. However, the seating position is quite upright and there is an adequate amount of space. In terms of cargo capacity, the Land Rover Range Rover offers most of the above cars.

How intuitive is the Infotainment unit in the 2011 Land Rover Range Rover?

The Land Rover Range Rover comes with a Navigation system with on-road and off-road tracking, Bluetooth, USB port, and 14-speaker Harman Kardon Surround sound system. The same is available in the Supercharged as standard. But as part of the optional Autobiography pack, you get rear-seat entertainment with a 19-speaker audio system and HD radio.

The exterior of the Land Rover Range Rover is bulky, stylish, and classy at the same time. We do like the boxy frame of the SUV and it has some sharp lines as well as high ground clearance which increases once you select your terrain. The exterior of the Range Rover features a heated windshield and rear windshield, 19-inch wheels, a sunroof, and power-folding mirrors.

Available are 20-inch wheels on the HSE. The Supercharged trim has these as stock and comes with the option of 20” wheels in black, black paint, and unique black exterior trim pieces as part of the autobiography black package. 

In terms of exterior dimensions, the Land Rover Range Rover is longer than the Porsche Cayenne, and the BMW X5 but is shorter in length than the Mercedes-Benz GL550. It is also wider than its competition and taller as well. This does lead to its weight, making this the heaviest of the above SUVs.
