The 2015 Honda Civic Sedan is offered in 5 trims among which the LX is the youngest at $18,490. It features 15-inch steel wheels, 5-inch display, and 4-speaker audio system. Then comes the HF, costing $19,940 for which it entails 15-inch lightweight alloy wheels and enhanced fuel economy over others. 

The SE trim at $19,990 further upgrades with automatic climate control, Honda LaneWatch, and HondaLink smartphone integration. Whie, the EX has sunroof and 16-inch alloy wheels as extra for $21,190. The EX-L is the last one with heated front seats and leather upholstery with an investment of $22,840.

It is advisable to opt for the EX-L trim as it is the only one that justifies a premium cabin with upgraded comfort fetaures and infotainment algorithms. It has also got better tech-ends including powr heating for seats and navigational pursuit.

The 2015 Honda Civic Sedan comes with a 1.8L Inline-4 engine that facilitates the power output of 143hp and provides a torque of 129lb-ft. It is mated to either 5-speed manual or CVT in the standard FWD layout. But that manual transmission is for LX trim only.

In terms of dynamics, the engine ensures that the ride in the Honda Civic is smooth and comfortable without feeling too harsh on the bumps. The handling of the car is quite steady and offers a stable grip on the road, kudos to its multi-link rear and front strut suspensions. 

There is no official data on the Civic's 0-60 MPH acceleration and top speed. Its top speed is also in the shades of gray. However, one can expect a  decent braking distance from 70-0 MPH with its 10.3-inch front vented disc and 7.9-inch rear drum brakes that work together with ABS and Brake Assist. 

 As per data, the Civic has 21 lb-ft torque deficit against the Mazda 3 along with 12 hp lower power curve. On the other hand, the Elantra and Civic are pretty much at par with each in power dynamics. However, it overwhelms the Corolla with its 11 hp better surge for a competitive pricing.

The 2015 Honda Civic has a fuel capacity of 13.2 gallons and offers 28 MPG within city limits, 36 MPG on the highways, and a combined mileage of 31 MPG. This allows it to go as far as 475 miles before refueling again.

Based on the mileage, the Corolla is 1 MPG more efficient than the Civic that helps it to have 13 miles better range. The Mazda 3 and Civic have got comparable tank size and thus parallel combined range coverage too.

The interior of the 2015 Honda Civic Sedan is a mixed feeling as one does not get leather upholstery for any of the trims except the range-topping EX-L. All the other configurations settle with cloth-surfaced seats with manual adjustability and hard plastic.

The Honda appears generous as it brings in heated front seat for the EX-L edition along with 8-way power adjustability for driver's end. As far cargo capacity is concerned, a trunk of 12.5 cu-ft has been given in the rear too for your loading and unloading.  

In terms of cargo volume, the Civic has 2.3 cu-ft smaller trunk than the Hyundai Elantra that becomes 0.6 cu-ft against the Corolla. Corolla even has 5.2-inch better legroom in the 2nd row. Apart from all these, one can be involved within the LX's cabin with a 5-inch display and 4-speaker audio.

A 7.0 touchscreen display beside that 6-speaker audio unit is also there for the higher trims. Not just that, the EX-L can be availed with an optional navigation system too for keeping a track on one's mobility. And the HondaLink smartphone integration is called from SE onwards.

The exteriors of the 2015 Honda Civic can be best described as modern, and recent tweaks have given it a bit more panache. The look is slightly chiseled, with more sculpted flanks and an upward-raked character line. But the roofline, stance, and footprint all make the car instantly recognizable as a Civic.
