The nine-speed automatic transmission is noisy and feels shaky while shifting gears. However, we will put our focus on the 1.4-liter turbocharged Inline-4 cylinder.

Braking performance of 2018 Jeep Renegade

The 2018 Renegade comes with Active Braking (advanced brake assist that increases the brake pressure if the driver is not braking enough). Brake pedals feel firm and it stops from 60-0 in 126 feet which is average for the class.

The 2018 Jeep Renegade has the biggest brakes in comparison. It gets disc brakes at both the front and rear measuring 12 inches and 11 inches respectively. Even with bigger brakes, the Jeep is not the best performing vehicle in this comparison. The higher curb weight of the Renegade is an issue for the braking performance.
