2025 Nissan Armada Is Here With A 425 HP V6 And Can Tow 8500 Pounds

The Old Armada is revered across the globe as one of the most dependable vehicles ever made with its NA V8 and its ability to cross vast stretches of any given terrain on Earth. The new 2025 Nissan Armada borrows some neat features from its Patrol cousin and tops it up with a torque-rich V6 and an all LED cosmetic uplift on all corners.

Nissan has given the new Armada several styling makeovers. The lights all around are now completely LED and a full-width LED bar is available on top tier trims. The wiper now sits flush with the body to improve aerodynamics. The whole chassis is a lot more stiffer and a bit longer than the old Armada which improves handling and cargo space.

The Pro-4X trim has trim-specific bumpers front and rear along with optional two-tone colors like black combined with Alpine Metallic, Gun Metallic, Coulis Red, Aspen White, or Everest White. The wheels on offer range from sizes 18 to 22 inches and can be had shod with Yokohama Geolander all-terrain tires on Pro-4x Trim.

The interior now looks more along the lines of the Nissan QX80, in a very positive manner. There are plenty of plush leather options in both quilted and dual-tone themes. Genuine wood veneers are also available to send on the trim. 2025 Armada no comes with a 600-watt Klipsch Audio system and Wireless Carplay with tons of Active driver assistant features.

Other features include dual 12.3-inch screens or 14.3-inch screens, 12-way adjustable seats with massaging, heating, and cooling, and a neat IR camera that looks out for overheated passengers and directs cool air towards them. With all seats folded, you can get up to 96 cu ft of storage space!

2025 Nissan Armada Powertrain

The old V8 is gone and is now replaced by a twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 with 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft mated to a 9-speed automatic. The 2025 Armada now uses an electronic steering rack. It also has air suspension and electronically adjustable dampers on top tier like PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve. 

When combined with a Class IV tow hitch it can easily tow 8500 pounds and comes with assistive features like  Integrated Trailer Brake Controller and Trailer Blind Spot Monitoring.

2025 Nissan Armada Trims And Price

The 2025 Nissan Armada will be available in late 2024 in five trims. SV, SL, PRO-4X(ONLY 4WD), Platinum, and Platinum Reserve in either RWD or 4WD, prices for the US are TBD.
