They may be borrowing every engine from Mercedes, but Aston Martin still knows a thing or two about how to design some seriously seductive-looking cars. The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish has a monstrous 824 hp V12 and a limited run of 1000 units per year.

Kammback made a Comeback!

The Kammback essentially means a rear end that looks like it has been abruptly chopped off. Aside from looking retro cool it also serves the aerodynamic purpose of reducing speed-killing drag and allowing the new Vanquish to reach a staggering 214 miles per hour.

The exterior is devoid of any downforce-producing bits which might seem counterintuitive when going 200 miles per hour but the 80 mm increase in wheelbase and 75 percent more stiffer chassis take care of any stability issues.

The bonnet and the side profile still look very much like an Aston Martin should. The bonnet has a couple of thermal lovers to keep the engine bay terms in check while the iconic side strake provides all the nostalgia you can handle. As usual, the lightning all around is an all-LED setup.

On paper numbers like 824 hp and 738 lb-ft sound okay considering how accessible 1000 hp has become these days, but once you realize that the 5.2 L Twin Turbocharged mill Aston has shoved into the new Vanquish produces all this without any sort of electric assistance, it is downright impressive.

a new engine from the ground up. There is nothing that is carried over. It's got a new block, new heads, new intakes, new exhaust ports, new turbos.

The V12 now features higher fuel flow injectors, a lightened rotating mass, and redesigned turbochargers with high turbine speed.

The new Vanquish also comes with a snazzy “Boost Reserve” function that gives you a little extra punch during overtaking and launch control.

The latter will make sounds loud enough to wake your neighbors just in case you have optional Titanium exhaust equipped which also comes with an additional 23 pounds in fat loss.

The 5.2 L V12 is mated to a classic ZF 8-speed and an electronically controlled LSD. The e-diff can lock in just 135 milliseconds. Aston has gone for a double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension along with Bilstein DTX dampeners and anti-roll bars underneath an all-aluminum bonded chassis.

738 lb-ft sounds and feels out of this world but putting that much power on the ground is an entirely different business, just ask any muscle car owner. To remedy the “Spinning ain’t winning” situation Aston has decided to shod the gleaming 21-inch wheels with massive 275-front and 325-rear Pirelli P Zeros.

Aston Martin claims the new Vanquish can do 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.

It will stop just as fast thanks to giant 410 mm Carbon discs up front and 360 mm in the rear.

Tailored Interior

The interior has a couple of large but well-designed 10.2-inch touchscreens. Aston says they included buttons, glass controls, and rotating dials for everyday tasks and tactility. The central touchscreen is mounted low and out of drivers' sight for minimum distractions.

As usual, expect countless leather and stitching options in any color of your choice. The interior seats two and has a parcel shelf for overnight luggage bags.

As a standard, the 2025 Vanquish comes with a full-length glass canopy with active dimming. Carbon fiber roof is an option that comes with a 23-pound weight savings

How Much Is The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish?

A Lot. Aston says the deliveries will begin in the latter stages of 2024 with each example costing around $429,000.The figure will likely cross the $500,000 mark as no one is gonna settle for the base options.

The Super GT is still a niche segment. The new Vanquish will be rivaling the Bentley Continental GT Hybrid with 770 hp and the Rolls Royce Specter.

The former has a rather generic-sounding V8 hybrid and the latter is devoid of any emotions due to an electric powertrain, making the V12-powered Vanquish a no-brainer for the affluent.
