The 2021 Infiniti Q60 retains the same number of trims as last year and that includes Pure and Luxe. The prices for the 2021 Infiniti Q60 begin at $41,750 for the base Pure trim and ranges up to $52,300 for the AWD-powered Luxe trim. By default, the 2021 Infiniti Q60 is driven by its rear wheels, unless you opt-in for the optional AWD drivetrain, which costs $2000 extra over the selected trim's MSRP.

Apart from these standard features, there are also two packages on offer for the 2021 Infiniti Q60, namely - Essential Package, Leather Seating Package, and Pro/Assist Package. The Essential package adds auto-dimming outside mirrors, a power-adjustable and heated steering wheel, heated front seats, driver-seat memory settings, remote engine starting, Infiniti InTouch emergency communications services, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a navigation system.

Since the Q60 is primarily a luxurious car, the Luxe trim will be offering more value for the money spent. There’s also a new EDITION 30 package that gives you a myriad of additional features to makes the Luxe trim almost on par with the more expensive Red Line 400 trim.

The 2021 Infiniti Q60 houses a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Both Pure and Luxe trims feature this setup. While the Red Sport 400, with an upgraded air intake system, produces 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. All trims use a 7-speed automatic transmission using a standard rear-wheel drive and an optional all-wheel-drive system. 

Both the engines feel more soothed for those long-distance travels, for the engine is quicker of the line and at higher speed, there’s a healthy delivery of torque at the upper ranges of the rev counters. Maneuvering the Q60 through the highway traffic is smooth and the transmission system feels at home too. Unlike in city traffic conditions, where the 7 Speed might appear sluggish at a low rev range.

The 2021 Audi A5 belts out 261 hp and is the closest any car can get to the Q60 in terms of raw power. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe's 255 hp 2.0L I4 engine follows the suite, leaving the BMW 4-Series for the last. The 2021 Infiniti Q60 Coupe goes from 0-60 MPH in 5.4 seconds while clocking the quarter of a mile lap in as low as 13.3 seconds.

The 2021 Infiniti Q60 isn’t among the thriftiest cars in its class- The Car Connection

The Infiniti Q60 offers a decent fuel efficiency among the class without a compromise on performance, unlike most cars that offer either high power or decent fuel efficiency – not both at the same time.

The 2021 Infiniti Q60 can roll for 19 miles in the city or can gush through 27 miles on the highway. Summing up these figures we get a combined mpg of 22, which is not the very best in the class. The Infiniti Q60’s V6 might not be efficient, but this coupe offers the best in class range, all credits to a 20-gallon fuel tank capacity. 

However, INFINITI is not the most fuel-efficient vehicle on this list. It comes last in this race and its higher power output is mainly responsible. The relatively larger 20-gallon fuel tank offers a decent range on city and highway. In conclusion, the BMW 4-Series tops the list and stands as the most fuel-efficient choice in this list.

The 2021 Infiniti Q60 has a pretty modern interior layout. The dual-screen infotainment screen provides ample information, well distributed between the two. The dashboard has soft touches and the way the cabin has been laid out provides great ergonomics and a higher seating position too.

There’s sufficient comfort, support, and legroom in the first row. However, the rear row feels cramped due to the coupe’s sloping roofline and limited legroom. So it’s really only the front row seats, more precisely the driver’s seat, where one would want to spend most of their time on the inside of this Infiniti.

The power figures of the Merc are less than that of the Q60. However, the C-Class Coupe compensates for this downside by offering better fuel economy, a well-appointed cabin that is plush as well as practical. In a nutshell, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is a much better package than the 2021 Infiniti Q60 Coupe. However, one should also note that the real cost of owning a Merc is much more expensive than the ownership cost of the Infiniti Q60. 

2021 Infiniti Q60 vs BMW 4 series

When we’re talking about BMW, certain things will come for granted for sure and that includes powerful refined performance and a comfortable interior. The 2021 BMW 4-Series comes at a price of $45,600 and houses a 248 hp 2.0L turbocharged I-4 engine. The power figures of the Bimmer are less than that of the Q60. However, the 4-Series Coupe makes up for a better package by offering better fuel economy, and the most spacious cabin in this class. The all-new 2021 BMW 4-Series commands a serious road presence, excellent handling, and feature-rich interiors. 

2021 Infiniti Q60 vs Audi A5

When it comes down to looks, the Audi definitely stands out but Infiniti's design philosophy has its positives also. It might not have that many lines as the Audi A5, which makes it more dynamic to look at. The new A5 has definitely taken things a notch higher, however, since the 2021 Q60 is a carryover model, unlike the Audi. The Infiniti Q60 looks a bit dated. The 2021 Audi A5 is competitively priced to the Infiniti Q60, but at almost the same price the A5 offers a much more feature-loaded cabin and a plusher ride quality.

The INFINITI Q60 provides excellent value against its rivals. It has a smooth ride, a luxurious vibe, and offers great performance. However, it feels less sporty considering it being a Luxury Sport Coupe, can feel cramped, and offers a really poor cargo capacity. There are rivals like the BMW 4-series and Audi A5 that offer a sharper ride and larger cargo capacity. The rivals have more strengths than the Q60 and fewer weaknesses.
