Kia America unveiled the 2026 Kia EV9 GT at the LA Auto Show, marking the debut of its most powerful three-row SUV yet. Equipped with dual electric motors the new Telluride-based EV makes 501 horsepower, a significant increase from the lightweight EV9 GT-Line’s 379 horsepower. Propelling the 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
The Telluride based EV9 GT comes with massive 285/45R-21 tires wrapped around exclusive 21-inch alloy wheels with neon green calipers.

Despite its sporty characteristics, the EV9 GT retains a ground clearance of 7.8 inches and a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs, making it practical for everyday use.

The car also comes with an electronic Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) to optimize torque distribution.
Inside, the GT-specific features include sport seats with Alcantara suede inserts, neon green accents, and GT-embroidered logos. The cabin offers a blend of luxury and sportiness with an interior trim of mart Parking Assist (RSPA 2), making parking easier in tight spaces.
The EV9 GT benefits from Kia’s 800-volt fast-charging architecture, which enables charging from 10 to 80 percent in under 25 minutes with DC fast chargers. Additionally, starting in 2025, all EV9s, including the GT, will feature a Tesla NACS port, granting access to over 35,000 DC fast chargers across the U.S.
Expected to hit dealerships in the latter half of 2025, the EV9 GT builds on the success of the Kia EV6 GT while offering more space for passengers and cargo. Pricing will be revealed closer to its release date.
