The 2025 Dodge Stealth: Everything We Know So Far
“ Dodge would build the Stealth SUV at its plant in Windsor, Ontario in time for the Durango model’s departure” Sam Fiorani-Automotive News Canada
Since the source holds some credibility and SUV is the type of body style everyone wants to own these days, we made some careful assumptions on what the upcoming Durango replacement could pack, hoping that the rumored “Stealth” is actually an SUV.
A New Platform: Built for the Modern Era
The 2025 Dodge Stealth is likely to ride on the same WL platform as the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. This platform is designed to handle three rows of seating, giving the Stealth ample interior space for up to seven passengers.
If true, this could mean the Stealth inherits some of the Grand Cherokee L’s renowned driving dynamics, including impressive off-road capability and a comfortable ride on pavement.
However, there’s another intriguing possibility. Dodge could instead use Stellantis’s STLA Large platform, which is designed for electrified vehicles.
This would align with Dodge’s push toward hybrid and EV technology, with the Stealth potentially debuting as a hybrid SUV. Either way, the Stealth will be built with versatility in mind, making it a strong competitor in the midsize SUV market.
The second one is the most likely scenario given Dodge’s recent track record of axing every gas-powered car in its portfolio, which could only mean that everything with rubber feet that Dodge intends to manufacture going forward will be a hybrid, full EV or could pack some rendition of the Stellantis’ inline 6 Hurricane engine.

Currently, Dodge’s corporate cousin Jeep shares many of its components with the former as they both fall under Stellantis’ rather large umbrella. The likely engine choice for the upcoming Dodge Stealth could be a full electric powertrain with dual motors producing up to 400 hp and a minimum of 250 miles of range.
A Hurricane inline-6 produces around 500 hp, or a hybrid setup seen in the current Cherokee with up to 25 miles of all-electric range.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is for certain that sadly, there won't be any Hemi for the upcoming Durango replacement due to super hard emission laws.
Design and Interior: Space Meets Style
The Stealth is expected to make a bold statement with its design. While Dodge hasn’t released any official photos, we can expect a sleek yet muscular exterior that nods to the brand’s performance heritage. In any case expect som of the designing cues to match the Wagoneer as they might be built on the same platform
Inside, the Stealth will likely focus on family-friendly practicality and premium comfort. According to rumors, the SUV will feature three rows of seating, with options for either a bench or captain’s chairs in the middle row.
Expect high-quality materials, advanced infotainment systems, and tech features like wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and multiple USB-C ports to keep passengers connected on the go.
Mid- and top-tier trims will likely include premium touches such as leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an upgraded sound system. Cargo space should also be a strong point, making the Stealth a practical choice for road trips or everyday errands.

While Dodge hasn’t confirmed pricing, experts like MotorTrend estimate the 2025 Stealth will start around $40,000. This would position it competitively against rivals like the Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, and Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Higher trims with added performance or luxury features could push the price well into the $50,000 range.
Expect it to land somewhere around mid to late 2025.
